What this site stores

No accounts. Scores, streaks, and theme live in this browser. Google Analytics is the one third-party script, and it sets a cookie.

Your best, your streak, and which theme you picked are written to localStorage on this device. Clearing site data clears them. Nothing is sent to a thumbpower server — there is not one for scores.
Google Analytics 4 runs on every page, measurement id G-GGSXGJ775F. That script sets a tracking cookie and sends page views to Google. That is the only tracking cookie on the site.
A visit counter, Umami, also runs on this site’s own server. It records the page, the site that sent you, your country and city (worked out from your IP address, which is not stored), and your browser and device type. It sets no cookie and nothing is sold or shared.
Challenge links put a score in the URL (?c=) so the person you send it to can see the number. There is no name field. Values outside a sane range are ignored.
No ads, no sign-up, no sale of data. If the Analytics id is cleared in the source and the site is rebuilt, the cookie goes with it.
